Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you have a price list?

A: We provide price list only to Professionals (Importers, Wholesalers, Professional photographers only). Send us email with your Company name/Contact person name/Website URL/Number of weddings annually. We will reply email with special link and you will find Price list with ordering instruction there.

Q: Do the prices include the full printed and bound album?

A: Yes. All prices on the digital album price list include the printing and binding of your album.

Q: Are the pages stiff or soft?

A: All pages in our digital albums are stiff. Our albums are known as compression albums, becaouse tons of weight is applied to the cardboard page material, which does not simply make the pages stiff, but also allow the page edges to be cut and sanded to a hard and smooth finish, which acounts for a large part of the popularity of our albums.

Q: What format do I need to use for my photos or complete and ready to print and bind designs?

A: File information is as follows,

   • Colour Correct and/or Design in RGB colour spacing, but then do a final save into sRGB colour spacing

   • JPEG profile

   • 10 – 12 quality

   • 200 dpi

Q: How much input do I have in my design?

A: There are several ways to influence your design at the outset by adding sfpecific letters to the file names:

   • "f" tells the designer to "feature" that image prominently in the design. (example: 02f.jpg)

   • "b" tells the designer that the image is submitted as a background. (example: 02b.jpg)

   • "p" tells the designer to use that image as a 2-page panorama. (example: 02p.jpg)

You can group images into sub-folders so that you want to appear together on a single page or spread.

You can make a folder with a single image to use as the front or last page.

Your selections are used as a guide for the designer who will use their own creativity from there.

Q: Can I make any changes to a finished design?

A: There is no charge for the first three spreads changes. After that, there is a $10 charge per spread for design revisions.  A spread is the same as two sides/one panorama.

Q: Is any artwork done to the images for the album?

A: Our designers are expert retouchers. They will soften skin and retouch blemishes upon request. More extensive retouching is available at an additional charge.

Q: What types of cover styles are available?

A: We offer six basic cover styles, and all of our album sizes are available with Paper White , Black page edges. and Silver Gilded Edges.

Q: What materials do you use for the cover?

A: We have a choice of number of materials. All are man-made and have the look and feel of genuine leather.

Q: How should I prepare my files?

A: Submit JPG's in RGB or sRGB. We prefer the ones that came straight from your camera. If you have a specific look or style to your studios finished images, you may want to color correct before you submit.  However, if you crop or do any work on them, be sure not to compress them too much. Use a high quality setting like JPEG 10 or 12.

Q: Can I submit my own design?

A: Yes. We accept customer design order. In this case, we just Print and Bind album.

Q: Can I submit my files in CMYK?

A: No.  Your digital camera takes pictures in RGB or sRGB which are much wider color spaces then CMYK.  The wider color space of RGB yields the most colors possible.  Converting images to CMYK will choke down your colors and in effect diminish the quality of your work.

Q: Do you print on real photo paper?

A: Yes. Our Durst Lambda printer uses sharp laser imaging to expose the image directly to photo paper.  The result is the sharpest and best color available today.  Our prints have better color and deeper blacks then prints made on common printers like the Fuji Frontier.

Q: What paper do you use?

A: Fuji Crystal Archive Professional Paper.

Q: Can I add my brand name/logo to the album?

A: You can have your logo incorporated into your album design. Extra charge to be added.

Q: How long does it take for album delivery?

A: From approval to print and bind, it usually takes approximately two to four weeks for album delivery.
